Sid Gustafson's latest writing journey landed him up against The Rail, a New York Times horseracing column he wrote six articles for regarding Big Brown's failed bid to claim the Triple Crown. His next book is non-fiction, The Language of Horsemanship--a professional interpretation of the theory and practice of natural horsemanship, to be published by Eclipse Press in Lexington, Kentucky in August 2009. When the horse doctor is not writing in Montana where he lives, he practices equine sports medicine in Saratoga Springs, NY, where he is known as Saratoga Sid, the veterinarian who employs natural approaches to horse health and performance.
